The Center is regularly open Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 4:30 p.m. and Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for music night. The facility is closed on weekends. Reminder: Winter is upon us now so if the Stillwater Public schools decide to close due to inclement weather, the Stillwater Senior Activity Center will also be closed.

Monday, Dec. 22 – The doors open at 9:30 a.m. and you can exercise free with the Sit ‘n Be Fit exercise class; or play some 8-ball with the women pool players; or try out your painting or crafting skills with the artists. Then afterwards the line dancers will work off some of those calories with their fancy footwork. Beginners to more advance dancers are all welcome. They have a good and invigorating time. Later, during the afternoon games of bridge, canasta, pool/snooker, and jig saw puzzle solving are popular. At 1:00 p.m. a coed 8-ball pool tournament will be held. Women are encouraged to participate. Don’t let the men have all the fun!

Tuesday, Dec. 23 – Try out your hand at Wii bowling. It is a fun and popular activity to participate in on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Then at 10:30 a.m. you can get some energetic exercise in the Zumba class. Afternoon games include; canasta, duplicate bridge, dominoes, and jig-saw puzzle solving. Exercise equipment that includes a treadmill, two exercise bikes, and a weight set are available for use, too. Bingo is played at 2:00 p.m. It is a lot of laughs and everyone gets a prize!

Wednesday, Dec. 24 – Get ready for the extra holiday calories by beginning an exercise workout. The Sit ‘n Be Fit exercise group meets up at the Center starting at 9:30 a.m. Then at 10:30 a.m. line dancers start kicking up their heels to some swinging country tunes.  During the afternoon, games of canasta and other card games are played, and also pool and snooker. The afternoon movie will be cancelled this week due to the holiday.

Thursday, Dec. 25 – The Center is closed.
