Monday, July 2 – Join the Sit n’ Be Fit exercise class offered
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings starting at 9:30 a.m. In the exercise
class some exercises are done from chairs and some are done while standing
close to the chairs for support. There are also stretchy bands & fitness balls
to test flexibility and coordination. You can also get some exercise while
walking and stretching around the pool tables during women’s 8-ball pool
playing. The women pool players play several friendly rounds of 8-ball. They
would like for new players to come join them and experience the fun. Do you like
to line dance? Line up to do some boot scootin’ boogie across the floor
starting at 10:30 a.m. A good sturdy shoe or boot is a safety requirement. At 1
p.m. canasta, social bridge, pool and snooker are played. Also, check out the
jig-saw puzzle table and test your puzzle solving skills.
Tuesday, July 3 – The ‘Zumba with Angie’ class offers a quick paced
exercise/dance routine. It is held every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. The
routines are done to a faster moving type of music, so good sturdy shoes are
required for all the quick stepping. No backless, slide on types of shoes are
allowed. Afternoon games include: duplicate bridge, canasta and pool & snooker.
Most cards games begin at 1 p.m., except for duplicate bridge which starts at
12 p.m. Two rounds of bingo are called at 2 p.m. It is a fun time and everybody
wins a prize!
Wednesday, July 4 – We will be closed for Independence Day.
Thursday, July 5 – Bring your guitar and join the guitar lessons
held every Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30 a.m. it is time to Zumba again.
